3 Lexington rental companies carry equipment commonly used for graduation parties. Graduation season packs a lot of parties into a few weekends. Tents, seating, and games or concessions handle the crowd that a grad party tends to draw.
General guidance for planning a rental like this — from the PartyRents editorial team, not specific to any one company.
A standard bounce house needs roughly a 15×15 ft flat area plus a few feet of clearance on every side and overhead. Note gates, slopes, and low branches before you book so the unit actually fits.
Most inflatables run on a continuous blower and need a grounded outlet within about 50–100 ft, or a generator. Water slides also need a hose connection and a plan for drainage.
Grass is ideal for staking; hard surfaces need sandbags instead. Reputable operators pause or postpone in high wind or storms — ask about the weather and refund policy up front.
Plan for adult supervision, group children by size, and confirm the unit is commercial-grade and regularly cleaned. Ask whether an attendant is available if you want hands-off supervision.
As a rough guide, allow about 8 sq ft per guest for rows of seating, 10–12 for banquet tables, and more once you add a dance floor, bar, or buffet. Share your headcount and plan so the vendor can size it correctly.
Tents are staked into grass or weighted on hard surfaces. Larger frame and pole tents may require permits or utility line marking, so confirm the install method for your specific site.
